Music Workshops
Cooperative Sound Adventures for groups, families, and individuals.
Each participant will receive a recording of their own original music on CD at the end of the workshop.
Spring Class- 3 sessions long from 6-8 pm
6/2, 6/9, and 6/16. Maximum 4 people, socially distanced with masks!
Electronic ambient experiments
Participants will work with a variety of vintage and current synthesizers and drum machines to create instrumental pieces. Ambient music will be explored and experienced along with an introduction to the operation of the synthesizers. Students will have time to experiment with guidance, and if in a group, will work as an ensemble.
Percussion & Found Sound Experiments
Participants will work with a variety of percussion instruments from around the world, along with bells, gongs, and a variety of found sound objects to create layered rhythmic instrumental pieces. Students will have time to experiment with guidance, and if in a group, will work as an ensemble.
